INDIAN SOCIETY FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION S INSTITUTIONAL CHAPTER AND ISTE STUDENTS CHAPTER
The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is a national, professional, non-profit making society registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. First started in 1941 as the Association of Principals of Technical Institutions (APTI), it was converted into Indian Society for Technical Education in 1968 with a view to enlarge its activities to advance the cause of technological education. The major objective of the ISTE is to assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industries and other organizations.
ACET is associated with the esteemed Indian Society for Technical Education, which is a National, Professional, Non-profit making society. The major objective of the ISTE that is to assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians. This is the need of the hour, to enable our nation to progress.
The ISTE is doing really a noble work. It is indeed a fine, network between, Technical Associates, Teachers, entrepreneurs and students. With inauguration of the students chapter, it will definitely provide a proper platform for the students to orient and update themselves with the modern technical scenario. The institutional chapter of ISTE will also prove beneficial to the Teaching faculty and facilitate their all round development and career and academic enhancement, by imparting able guidance and orientation through Short Term Training Programme (STTP) and seminars.
