The basic purpose of an induction program is the integration of new students with the working systems and processes in and across the college and to help the new students to settle down quickly by familiarizing themselves with the new environment of the department.
An Induction Program was organized for the First semester students in Auditorium on 21st August 2015.
FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
Faculty Development Programmer (FDP) aims at equipping teachers with skills and knowledge that are essential for inculcating human values in students and guiding motivating and monitoring their progress towards successful career.
The FDPs provide inputs on process and practice of, communication and inter-personal skills, creativity, problem solving, achievement motivation training, and inputs on resource and knowledge industries. The training methodology includes case studies, group discussion, games and simulation exercise, and classroom lectures. FDP was organized on dated 16th December 2015.
Edutech 2K16: A National Level Poster & Model Competition
Anjuman College of Engineering & Technology, organizes, National Level Intercollegiate Model and Poster Competition - EduTech2K16.
The department of Science & Humanities organized a grand National Level Inter Collegiate Model and Poster Competition EDUTECH-2K16 on 6th February 2016 at Anjuman College of Engineering & Technology Campus.
The event was inaugurate at the hands of Er. Noor Ali, member, Governing Council MSBTE, Mumbai, in the presence of Mrs. Shahnoor Mirza, Principal J.N. Tata Parsi Jr. College, Mr. Rafiullaha, Principal, Anjuman Polytechnic, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed, Principal, Anjuman High School and Junior College, Dr. Sajid Anwar, Principal ACET, Prof. (Mr.) Nawaz Khan, Head of Science & Humanities Department, Dr. Tanveer Quazi, Convener and Prof. (Mrs.) Tasneem Khan Co-convener of the event.
Dr. Sajid Anwar in his welcome address motivated the students for all round development.
Er. Noor Ali emphasized on the importance of setting goals ahead and realization of creative skills and potentials.
Mrs. Shahnoor Mirza highlighted the strength of young mind. Prof.(Mrs.) Nawaz Khan proposed vote of thanks.
The event received overwhelming response in the form of hundreds of entry for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer and Electronics.
Students from all over the Nagpur participated in the events, namely J. N. Tata Parsi, St. Joseph’s Convent, Anjuman Junior College, Rabbani Junior College, Islamiya Junior college, Tidke Junior College, Ummesalma Junior College, Army Public School, Mahatma Gandhi, Dharamraj, Central India Polytechnic, KDK Polytechnic, Government Polytechnic, Anjuman Polytechnic, NUVA, NIT, Datta Meghe Polytechnic etc.
In each category the students won attractive Cash Prizes along with certificate.
Dr. Shahbaz Khan, Prof.(Dr.)Mrs. G. Maheshwari, Prof. Zamir Khan, Prof. Junaid, Prof. Sajid Quazi, Prof. Asia, Prof. Samina Anjum and Prof. Tasneem Firdous along with students volunteers worked hard for the success of the event.

PARENTS TEACHER MEET
A positive communication between parent teachers is a must to improve academic performance of a student.
To cater the need , a parents teacher meet was organized in Science & Humanities department for the first semester students on 17th October 2015, to discuss the performance of the ward on attendance and Class test score, in respective class rooms.
A large number of enthusiastic parents along with their wards met the respective class coordinator to discuss the scope of improvement.
