Description

B. Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is an undergraduate program with solutions which empower the computer and the machines to display intelligence like human beings.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science was established in 2021 with motto of providing quality education in cutting edge technologies of the world. The sanctioned intake in 2021 was 30 students per year and has been subsequently increased to 60 from the year 2023 onwards. The department is laced with laboratories having the latest machines like i7 and i5 to cater to the data centric need of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

This domain of study has been formulated to train students in acquiring the data and then analysing the data to provide relevant solutions. Once being trained in working with data, the students are acquainted with development of data driven solutions, data visualization tools and techniques to analyze big data. It is supplemented with the use of the concepts of machine learning and deep learning model building for solving various computational and real-world problems.

A graduate in this domain will exhibit their domain knowledge in data handling, knowledge extraction, mobile and distributed application development, intelligence web/ecommerce development, database administration, computer hardware, networking, education and training and decision support systems using AI and Data Science tools and techniques.
