The aim of establishing central computing infrastructure is to provide computing and internet facilities to the whole campus and support students in their project work, seminar, presentation, etc. The online mock test, workshops, online competitive exams, guest lectures, maintenance are also provided.
The Computer Centre lab has a network of 66 Wipro Computers, two IBM servers with latest configuration. Internet connection is provided through dedicated leased line having speed of 10 MBPS. Centre also provide 20 Mbps broad band Connectivity as a backup. The lab has fully loaded generator backup facility to avoid failure, audio-visual facilities etc.
The computer nodes and servers are operating in a network configuration as a part of total campus network.
