The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi. As part of its objectives to promote the interests of the HVAC&R Industry, ISHRAE is involved in various activities. ISHRAE reaches out to all its members and seeks their active participation & involvement in all the Events/Programs. ISHRAE conducts Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, Job Fairs and Exhibitions throughout the country with both national and international participants to discuss, promote and display the state of the art technologies, systems, products and services.
ISHRAE organizes ACREX INDIA, the largest international exposition in South Asia on the Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, Ventilation and Building services industry. Held annually, ACREX is considered to be a major opportunity to showcase the latest technologies / innovations, and provide a platform for buyer- seller meet for technical & commercial personnel in the HVAC& R field.

REPORT
The program was organized to install the ISHRAE Student chapter of Anjuman College of Engineering & Technology, Sadar, Nagpur. There were 3 dignitaries, 6 staff members and 40 student members present in the installation ceremony. Dr. Aashish Raut, student Chair of Nagpur ISHRAE chapter, motivated students to visit ACREX-2023 in Mumbai and to participate in Aquest-2023, a national level quiz competition on HVAC-R also shared his views on Green Buildings and student project grant through ISHRAE. Nagpur ISHRAE chapter donated HVAC-R data books to departmental library of Mechanical Engineering Department in order to avail this facility and to make use of this books in their projects based on RAC & HVAC-R. Students appreciated and agreed to seriously think, plan and start required preparation. 37 students attended the installation ceremony.

REPORT
The department of mechanical engineering ACET conducted 2 days � Hands on workshop on Assembly & Disassembly of split AC compressor , Hermetic compressor, Car AC complete and Scroll compressor(5 Ton Capacity) on 27&28th March 2023. The lecture and hands on practical training was delivered by Er. Vijay Bhambri Sir to 8th semester students who were made aware of different types of Compressor and how it actually works. There were 32 students attended this workshop. The participants could visualize owing to work with actual modal by disassembly of component.

ISHRAE and Informa Markets are back with ACREX India 2023, the flagship exhibition for air conditioning, heating, ventilation and building automation in South Asia. This HVAC expo were held from March 14-16 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai. The agenda of ACREX India in 2023 will be the evolution of technology in the HVAC industry for a better future. Visitors from more than 40 countries were witnessed the exchange of ideas and network expansion opportunities with the global leader in the HVAC Sector. Department of Mechanical Engineering ACET decided to participate in the exhibition to gain widespread ideas and various technology prevailed in this sector. There were 35 participant went to exhibition alongwith 2 Faculty ( Prof. N.M. Alam and Prof M. N Nasim). Participants were enlightened by the recent modification done by the renowned organization and faculty guide them how development happens over the period of time and what kind of roll Mechanical Engineers play in this field
