About Incubation & entrepreneurship development cell (I & ED- Cell)

Anjuman college of Engineering & Technology have an active Incubation & entrepreneurship development cell (I & ED- Cell). It aims to encourage graduated or graduating engineer to choose self employment as career option. To motivate students for being entrepreneurs, the cell conducts Guest lectures, workshops, seminars, competitions, hackathons and Industrial visits programmes for skill enhancement and experience purpose. Presently, Dr. S. M. Ali is incharge of the cell.

VISION

To provide a platform for new age entrepreneurs and young minds to transform their innovative ideas into viable business propositions.

MISSION

To develop an institutional mechanism for nurture and empower the next generation entrepreneurs to serve the local problems. The students, alumni of ACET and local industries can come up with their ideas which might lead to the start-up.

The major objective to setup the incubation & entrepreneurship development Cell ( I & ED-Cell) is to create opportunities for start-ups to develop sustainable business. The main target is to develop competencies amongst young aspiring entrepreneurs and monetize their talents and innovative ideas.

OBJECTIVES

  •  To encourage students to consider self employment as a career option.
  •  To create an environment for Self-employment and Entrepreneurship development through formal and non-formal programs.
  •  Support early stage innovative ideas.
  •  Nurture start up idea and technology innovations from their idea stage.
  •  To gave the hands on experience for a designing products.
  •  Provide advice, equipment, temporary premises and other facilities to those starting up a business.
  •  ACET bring researchers and academician together to create an inspiring echo system to transform ideas into actions.

ACTIVITIES

  •  Conducting an entrepreneurship awareness camp each semester.
  •  Arranging suitable interaction with successful Entrepreneurs through Guest lectures, workshops, seminars, competitions and Industrial visits.
  •  Conducting specific skill development programs on entrepreneurship.
  •  Encourage the tie-ups or MoUs with industries for mutual benefit.
  •  To organize a various activities on Entrepreneurship development, thereby laying a platform for budding entrepreneurs of each academic year.

  •  Fully furnished Office Space (offices, workshop/ lab available on flexible and temporary basis).
  •  Common services ( Internet, secretarial support, common reception, mailing facilities, assist to computers and other office equipments, meeting rooms)
  •  Business Counseling (Assess with regards business planning, training and management skills)

INITIATIVES

  •  Established Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) with MHRD Innovation Cell (MIC)
  •   Submitted the proposal for Business Incubation Centre of MSME, Govt. of India.
  •  Signed MOU from outsource services like Zero Mile Software Services India Pvt. Ltd., for setting up Incubation Centre to meet the standard requirements.
  •   Identified the types of early stage local companies.

ACET Incubation Center invites applications from students & alumni to incubate their own ideas and technologies with our support.

To Apply:

  • Step 2: Submit form along with the incubation proposal including objectives and business plan for the proposed venture. Signed MOU from outsource services like Zero Mile Software Services.

  • Step 3: The application is assessed by an expert committee through Business Plan presentation and interaction with team member.
